Art Consultant and Cultural Producer with over 15 year experience in the arts industry, specialising in site-specific public art engagement, international artists management, large scale exhibitions, cultural initiatives and contemporary art sales.

Hardy’s expertise and passion for expanding connections between Western and Eastern art forms led him to the UAE in the Middle East. During this period, he exhibited and worked alongside some of the pioneers of the Middle Eastern contemporary art scene. Inc Mohammed Ibrahim, Mohammed Kazam and Manal Al Dowayan also exhibiting blue-chip international contemporary artists such as Dan Flavin, Larry Bell, and James Turrell (in association with Pace) and curated Futura 2000’s first exhibition in the middle east, through his time with Cuadro Gallery 2009 – 2018.

During this time, he had worked closely with international Museums, collections and their acquisition boards, including British MuseumLACMAKing Abdelaziz Centre for World CultureThe National Gallery of VictoriaThe Foundation Louis VuittonGuggenheim(Abu Dhabi), Bajeel Art Foundation and Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan (UAE Unlimited) to secure artworks for their permanent collections.

Hardy has advised on numerous high level hotel projects, including the ‘Tazi Hotel’ (Morocco, 2015-2016) and with the Getty Architect group (Hong Kong), curating the international, ‘Global Day of Discovery’, immersive showcase at the Renaissance Hotel (2018 Downtown, Dubai) and has participated in large scale exhibition and fairs, such as the Shara Art Fair, (Jeddah, in conjunction with the Saudi Arts Council), Art DubaiArt Abu Dhabi & Art Basel and the MEBAA Airshow, Dubai (in association Tag Aviation).

Hardy has consulted for the Louvre Museum, Abu Dhabi, where he premiered the world’s first Turntable Orchestra (Turntable Symphonograph Orchestra, 2018. And supported leading UAE artist, Mohammed Ibrahim in the production and realisation of his hero installation for Expo 2020 (UAE Pavilion), also the Ministry of Culture (Riyadh, Saudi) in the launching of their inaugural cultural venue (Jax, Ad Diriyah Heritage, 2019), in conjunction with the exhibition ‘From Within’ (25 international and regional artists) as “part of the first phase of a larger plan to develop a cultural and creative district”. In 2023 he was part the third edition of Noor Riyadh Light Festival’, where he supported the artist and artwork lifestyle team in realising over 85 artworks across six locations, in association with the Royal Commission for Riyadh City.

Recently, he has been supporting and consulting on the Wadi Al Fann (AlUla, Saudi) cultural initiatives with the Royal Commission for AlUla, including Manal Al Dowayan’s solo exhibition ‘Oasis of Stories’ : Manal Al Dowayan and the People of AlUla and the fourth edition of the public arts program Desert X 2026, in association with the Arts AlUla arts festival.

Today, Hardy continues to balance his pursuits of working within the international contemporary art realm, bridging the gap between different societies and artistic practices, to create unique and innovative experiences within the public realm.
